For this photoshoot, outside of Palma de Mallorca, near the village of Pequera, I went to the bay Caló d’en Monjo. I brought my Nikon D810 and the Nikon F100, to take some pictures of the handmade necklaces from House of Kimane.  After a short hike I reached the spot, looking for an old tree as a prop to showcase the necklaces. The light was nicely soft in the beginning, so I took some close-up shots, including the tree and the water in the background. Later as the light got harsher I changed the scene, placing the necklaces on different rocks, playing with light and shadow. My goal was, to get some pictures expressing a connection to rural nature and the island of Mallorca. I took some portraits and shots with clean backgrounds, keeping in mind, that the images should work on a website and social media. In the end I was quite pleased with the results, showing the bay with its colors and the natural and rural feeling of old wood worked perfectly with the necklaces and their tones.
